A steel panel with three rows of six lamps. The rows are hours, minutes and
seconds written in binary: a lit lamp is a one, a dark lamp is a zero, and
the leftmost lamp is the biggest, worth 32. Add up the lit lamps in a row
and you have the number.
At 09:05:25 the rows read 001001, 000101 and 011001. A small digital readout
at the bottom gives the same time in ordinary digits, for when the sums get
tiresome.
Built for programmers and anyone else who counts in twos. The plainer
version is Binary.
