Grimoire

An astrolabe of invented make: three rings turning at their own rates, the outermost carrying the hours in a script that was never used anywhere. The glass over the rings catches light as they move.

The calendar ring follows a lunar month, which drifts against the civil one by design.

The engine needs a graphics card that supports the system graphics API: Direct3D 12 on Windows, Metal on macOS, Vulkan on Linux. In practice this means two things:

a physical machine with a graphics card is required, a virtual one will not do;
on Linux the graphics drivers have to be installed and configured.
